Pictures from May

I'm taking a photography class.  Because I decided it was finally time to learn how to use my camera. And things are clicking in my brain and I am learning things that I never knew before.

I took this following picture ON PURPOSE.  Normally I stick them next to a window and then just hope that the picture will turn out.

Now there is only like 30% hoping and the rest is all me understanding how much light the camera is getting and telling it what to do with it.  Crazy, right?   Every good picture I have taken in the past has mostly been on accident.

Now if only my kids WANTED to get their pictures taken.  But they don't.  They are pretty sick of it already.  Colin, though very cute in his hat, wanted no photographic evidence of it.  Here is a picture of him, begging me to stop:

 He was saying, "Please! Please! Please! Please!"  Too bad for him that he is so cute when he begs!
